NS *International* ticket from Schiphol...

I'll be arriving at AMS and taking a train straight to Brussels. The NSInternational site seems to sell tickets for specific trains (NS trains, not the Thalys, which are also listed), but elsewhere there's language that a ticket is good for any train on that date.

Can anyone confirm that I'm OK to pre-purchase the fare without knowing the exact departure I'll be able to get on? (As that will depend on how quickly Schiphol spits me out.)

I confirm the ticket is good for any train on that day and route. It will say that on the e-ticket

The first reply is partly correct. Tickets are indeed valid on all non-Thalys trains from Amsterdam Airport to Brussels on the day mentioned on your ticket.
It’s however cheaper to buy these tickets at least 7 days in advance to take advantage of the special early bird fare. With the early bird fare a ticket from Amsterdam to Brussels on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday only costs €25. If I were to buy that same ticket for tomorrow it would cost me €48,20

Thanks for that confirmation!

Yes, Dutch_traveler- the early-bird pricing was my concern, versus a more expensive "walk-up" ticket when I knew what train I could catch.
