Please send info about non-smoking venues.
Except for coffee shops or dining outside you will not have problems with smoke.
Same thing for hotels. When you do you search for hotels just read if any of the rooms have smoking and do if so do not book there.
Dining outside will subject you to cigarette smoke as mentioned above. If it bothers you, simply choose a seat inside the restaurant.
In recent years we have encountered very little smoking at outside seating in Europe. Recently in Amsterdam and the same was true. Did see a couple of smokers but the vast majority of the outside seating were non-smoking.
I'm afraid that if you want to smoke cigarettes or cigars in a hotel room you will have to go elsewhere than western and central Europe. All the countries now have laws prohibiting.
