Is there an advantage to visiting the Netherlands Open Air Museum on a weekend rather than a weekday? Are all of the sites and displays open during the week? The website does not give any information for visiting beyond January 14, 2024. I would like the flexibility of visiting on a good weather day, but I don't want to miss the full experience.

Hello, I am in the process of planning our trip in May and saw your question. This is what I see on the website (www.openluchtmuseum.nl) "The museum is open as a walking park until March 28 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Historic buildings are closed". So if you are going after March 28 the entire park should be open. Also, according to Rick Steves' Netherlands book the park is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Bill. It sounds like the website must have been updated past the winter season. I haven’t checked it in a while, so this fits in with what we had hoped to do. Thanks again.
