We will be in Amsterdam or Haarlem for a week in October and are looking for suggestions for an apartment (on the ground floor or with an elevator) that costs less than €1800 for the week. If you have any recommendations, we'd be very thankful.

2 adults, no kids. Haven't nailed down our dates yet as we're flying on buddy passs and will probably choose our dates based on our accomodations. Right now we're thinking of Oct 5-12, but we can move a week later if better.

We were very happy with Where Els in Haarlem. We stayed in the "house next door" which did not have breakfast but had its own kitchen. Groceries 2 minute walk away.
