Need a little help with Delft (please and TY!)

I would like just a smidge of help with the The Netherlands leg of my whirlwind European adventure. Specifically, I'm looking for recommendations for evening activities in Delft for Thursday (restaurants and otherwise) and ideas about how to order the day on Thursday. I was planning on doing the factory tour but as it's also I believe a market day... I'm not sure. I'm also not sure how long I want to spend in Keukenhof (also I'm getting ready to look at the combo tickets). Any insight appreciated!

Wed 4/25 - Train to Delft (afternoon in Brussels)
Thursday 4/26 - Keukenhof & explore Delft
Friday 4/27 - Amsterdam
Saturday -- Fly home at 8 a.m.

My favorite activity in Delft (during Rick Steves Belgium and Holland tour) was taking a short tram ride during free time to The Hague and going thru the Mauritshuis museum, home of the famous painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring:"

The museum is nicely laid out, and it is small enough to see the entire museum and not be overwhelmed. Audio tours are available, and the Rick Steves guidebook has a tour laid out that ensures you will see all the highlights.

Have a great trip!

From Delft the Keukenhof is best reached by taking the train to Leiden, and there pick up the bus (the bus station is right in front of the railway station). The combo ticket is for the park and the bus. For Delft to Leiden you need to buy a ticket at the railway station. This public transport planner gives you the schedule.
The Mauritshuis is a 10-min walk from the railway station Den Haag Centraal. Best done on the way back from the Keukenhof by picking up the train in Leiden. The fast train (Intercity) runs every 15 mins.
Thursday is indeed market day in Delft. It closes around 17.00.

Thank you so much!

Ton, would you recommend doing the Kuekenof first or the markets first?

Visit Keukenhof first. In Delft the two historic churches, Old Church and New Church are must sees. So much history. Vermeer is buried in Old Chirch and The New Church contains the Dutch Royal tombs. One ticket gives you entrance to both churches.
We walked out to the Delft Porcelain factory, long walk, but this year when we visited we saw a visitors’ tram that went there. We bought some items and had them shipped home.
I love The Hague with Mauritshaus Museum and the Parliament Buildings. Can’t you visit both Delft and The Hague? They are very close to each other and it would a shame to miss either town/city.

I'm not sure Suki. I don't have nearly the time I wish I had in The Netherlands. I think if we spent time in The Hague, I would not have time to go to Amsterdam. But the good news is, our next trip to Europe we will start in Holland :)
