We are limited and have to choose between either the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh. We do love impressionist art on the other hand we are interested in a museum that has more than just paintings. We will be in Amsterdam in June. Any suggestions. - thank you, Linda

The Rijksmuseum does have more than paintings. The have a collection of historic doll houses, model ships, and a stunning exhibition of gold and silver artifacts.
