Museum Week in Amsterdam April 9-15, 2019

I will be in Amsterdam April 8-14, coinciding with Museum Week. Free admission sounds great but what about crowds? Are all museums free during all operating hours? Separate doors for pass holders to sidestep the lines? How does timed entry work for the Van Gogh museum?

Might take a look at the iAmsterdam website, including a section on the museums and crowds.
Good synopsis of the event.
Remember this is tulip time and Keukenhof Gardens are in bloom - there will be bigger crowds on good weather days and the weekend
