Museum Pass for Tourists in the Netherlands?

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows of whether there is a museum pass available to tourists of the Netherlands, such as one for Amsterdam, or any that might help make museums in other cities more accessible too?

You have mistakenly posted on the Norway forum instead of the Netherlands forum.

There is a Netherlands Museum Card. You will need to google it are read the details to see if it will be worth it for you. The problem I saw for tourists like myself is that only residents can buy it in advance online. International visitors may buy a one month temporary card at a participating museum. This means that you would not be able to use the card if you are buying the advance tickets needed for Anne Frank, Van Gogh, and depending when you are traveling, maybe Rijksmuseum. I remember reading that there may be a way to get credit retroactively for these tickets but I didn't pursue it and didn't purchase the card. You would need to see if you would be visiting enough other museums not reserved in advance to make it worth it for you.

There is also an Amsterdam City Card which is separate and different from the Netherlands Museum card. The City card covers local public transporation, canal boat rides, some daytrips, bike rentals and a bunch of museums in Amsterday but, I believe, NOT the Van Gogh museum, NOT the Anne Frank House, and not museums in other cities. I decided against it because the number of big ticket sights one would need to visit within a given 24 hour period to save any money did not fit my style and pace of travel. On the City card website, they do have examples of itineraries where you could save money with the card.
