We have 6 days/5 nights planned in late September, centered on 2 consecutive nights of concerts in Zoetermeer. My first thought was to stay one night in Leiden (after arriving at Schipol in the AM), 2 nights in Zoetermeer, then 2 nights in Amsterdam. I realize that's a fair amount of packing/unpacking, but we would really like to stay at least 2 nights in Amsterdam to get the "full experience." We'll be relying on public transport, so ensuring we can get back to our hotel quickly and easily after the concerts is the rationale for the 2 nights in Zoetermeer - but there doesn't appear to be anything other than location that warrants staying there.
