Mid September (15 - 19) or Late September (29 - 3rd) for Amsterdam trip?

Looking at both of these dates. My friend and I have cheap flight tickets for either of these dates. We also see Anne Frank museum tickets popping up for both of these dates (yesterday I didn't see the dates available for 15 -19, but now all of a sudden they popped up).

We both plan last minute and will make a decision tomorrow but just curious if you guys have any input (i.e. maybe special events, or weather considerations, etc).

Is one of the dates preferable or are they both kind of the same? Not sure if later September would have fall colors or if mid September would have nicer weather?

We just plan on doing the main touristy things like Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, Jordaan, Zaanse Schans, etc

September is wat”y too early for fall colors and the weather doesn’t change much in 2 weeks, so I’m these terms it doesn’t matter. What does matter and what can change dramatically in just a few weeks are hotel prices. In september there are some big conferences in Amsterdam that have an upward effect on hotel prices. Also you’re booking very last minute. So before you book your flight I would look at hotel prices first.
