Making a reservation for Anne Frank House when we will be buying a Museumkaart

Rick's book says we can do this on the Anne Frank site, but I cannot find where, and although I have emailed to ask them, we are leaving in two days and the answer may not be back in time.

Has anyone done this, and if so, can you help me out?

Hi Chris,

When you go to the website, click on Buy Tickets, select the day from the calendar you'd like to visit, select the time, and then click on Buy. From here, you have several options, and the last option reads Museumkaart (Dutch Museum Pass holders): €0.00. You can just select the number of tickets you want here, and print out the reservation from home. There will be a €0.50 fee for each ticket reserved online.

Have a great time in Amsterdam - it's a great city!

Thank you both so much.

I have done that now, but there are no reservations left for the entire time we are in Amsterdam, June 5 through 8. I guess we will have to line up after all.

This is a popular time of year for school classes to travel to Amsterdam. And they fill up the small museum space really fast! It was a cramped space for Anne Frank's family, imagine a group of 30 teens in there ... I'd try to go later in the evening to avoid the longest line-ups.

We were there a couple of weeks ago in the early evening. About a 45 minute wait. Nothing compared to other times. Well worth the time in line.

Just go an hour before it closes and you will have no problem. Quieter, a small amount of people, intimate experience.
