We are thinking of visiting the Hague (Mauritshuis Museum) on a day trip from Amsterdam, o our way to Bruges. Is luggage storage available at the museum or train station? Thanks, Karen
Dutch stations tend to have lockers of various sizes, and if there is any place without there are usually alternate arrangements. Note that the Hague Centraal has different prices to others.
Details on the page provided by Dutch Railways, NS:

Also note - you can't pay with cash....
It looks like you will need a credit card with a chip in order to use lockers at Dutch train stations. I'd get one that works as a chip-and-PIN card rather than a chip-and-signature card just to be safe. The Mauritshuis is quite a walk from either train station. Not sure if they store luggage, but if they do and you're taking your luggage there, take a cab to the museum.
Thanks very much!
By the way, the Maruitshuis is worth the detour. They have The Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Anatomy Lesson, and even The Goldfinch by Carel Fabritius--the focus of Donna Tartt's best-seller. It's just been renovated so the collection is beautifully displayed.
