Looking for reasonably priced hotel in Amsterdam

Hello all! I am desperately seeking suggestions for a reasonably priced (under 200 euros per night) hotel room in Amsterdam for 3 people from April 22-26. Breakfast included would be an awesome bonus! I realize the 27th is King's Day, but 90% of the hotels I have checked say they do not have any availability at all and the other 10% are well beyond our budget. Would like to stay in the Jordaan area if possible, but at this point as long as it is reachable using public transportation, I am willing to consider it. Any help/suggestions would be gratefully appreciated :-)

I stayed at the Hotel Vondel and was quite pleased. Extremely easy to get to on a bus from the airport that stops 1 block away. I was able to get a very reasonable price through priceline, but I wasn't going at Tulip time either. Our price in July was $100.

Going to be hard to find something under 200 Euro for 3 people around King's Day (especially in the Jordaan). Amsterdam is not a cheap city for lodging (even when it isn't a holiday). For a triple, I'd try Hotel d'Amsterdam (easy walk to Vondelpark, Museumplein) to see if they have any availability. There's Ibis Styles Amsterdam City over near Albert Cuypmarkt - forget the Ibis attached to Centraal Station which is likely to be crawling with tourists and probably quite noisy with all the people coming in for King's Day.

If you can't find anything there, think about looking at some B&B's or a nice boutique hostel. Cocomama is in the dePijp area and they have family rooms that accommodate 3. Happy House B&B is not in the main canal ring (so it's cheaper), but it's in a good neighborhood and walkable to public transit. It's also run by Xaviera Hollander (of Happy Hooker fame). You could also try Airbnb or VRBO in your price range and see what comes up.

Not aware of any hotel that isn't crawling tourists, but the Ibis at CS is 100% sound proofed. You won't hear a peep from anything on the street or the trains the running underneath.

Look at the Hotel Wiechmann. It is in the Jordaan area, or at least at the very edge.

Have you found a place yet? Try Hotel Piet Hein by Vondelpark. We are actually checking out on April 27 and plan to catch the first train to Lille. We had no idea about King's Day when we planned the dates and was wondering why prices were so high.

If you go to tripadvisor travel forum for the Netherlands there is quite a group of individuals who are experts at using Priceline to get lower cost hotel room in Amsterdam. It certainly worked for me.
