Traveling to Amsterdam in Feb for 1 day before traveling to Africa. Have arranged to leave luggage for Amsterdam with host before returning to spend 4 days later in the month. I want to wear cold weather clothing in Amsterdam for the day, then change to warm weather clothing before leaving luggage with host and stay in airport. Are there lockers in Centraal Station where I could store my luggage so I don't have to carry it for the day? Haven't seen anything on their website.

Went to Amsterdam in december 18 with the family and had a really good experience at Lock luggage storage. They offer outstanding customer service and went above and beyond to help us with our accommodation. They also offer a delivery service. We used the delivery to get our bags to the Airport.

In addition to Michael: The Central Station of Amsterdam has lockers, but the aforementioned parties take the luggage manually. There is also a company near the Central Station that has real lockers (you do not have to pay per item, but per (large) locker). The company is called Lockerpoint (https://www.lockerpoint.com) at the Damrak, between the CS and the Damsquare. You can also book online here.

Lockers at Centraal station are convenient, easy, and inexpensive. We used them a few months ago and loved the convenience!
