We will be in Amsterdam the first week in April, and our hotel is located near Leidseplein square. What are our best options for transportation to Keukenhof?

The website says that a Combi ticket for entrance plus public transport will have information shortly. Since it opens next Wednesday, I expect "shortly" to be really shortly.

In past years there have been Express buses to Keukenhof from the Central station as well as from one of the outlying areas including the RAI Amsterdam convention center area.
From Leidesplein the tram system will be easy to take to the Central Station. You will probably be near the stop for Tramline 2.
And keep an eye on the website listed by Sam for details.

According to their home page, Keukenhof opens March 23 and you can get transport tickets (combi-tickets) starting February 22.
