Hello,
We will be traveling with our two smalls kids, in the Netherlands for a week this summer. When I try to buy their Kids Free tickets on the MY NS website, it says I have to have a Netherlands address. Is this something I can purchase at the station?
Thank you for your help!
In order to get the Kids Free, you need to buy a personalized OV chipcard for each kid. This personalized OV chipcard costs €7,50, needs a photo and you need to register it to a Dutch address, so this really isn’t practical for tourists.
Even without the Kids Free, kids aged 0-3 travel for free on all public transport. On the train kids aged 4-11 can travel all day long for only €2,50 with the rail runner ticket. https://www.ns.nl/en/tickets/railrunner
