Keukenhof Gardens on a layover

Hi,
I am travelling for work and have a 7 hour layover at Schiphol. If I were to hire a private tour guide, would there be enough time to see the Keukenhof Gardens? - the alternate question is how long of a layover is needed to do that?

Thanks!

You don't need a private guide to walk you around the park looking at tulips. Once you arrive there, you just walk around and look and maybe have meal, then head back.
Having said that, you might be able to visit if you time your tickets right.
Since you are already at the Schipol Airport, you would exit the terminal and turn right and walk to where the buses leave to take you to Keukenhof. If you have your combo bus/garden ticket already in hand, it would be very easy to get Keukenhof and then back to Schipol. I say go for it.

Whether or not you have enough time to visit the Keukenhof depends on a lot of details you haven’t provided yet. Where will you be arriving from? Where will you be flying out to? At what time are you scheduled to arrive? When will your other flight depart? Which airline(s) are you flying with? On what exact date?
When we know these details we can inform you better.

Where does you incoming flight come from and where does the outbound flight go? ( how much 'processing' time needs to be factored in, in addition to security screening for the outbound flight)

What are you doing with whatever bags you have?

How much time takes a visit to the Keukenhof Gardens?

Of course you can enjoy all the beauty for a whole day, but on average, a visit to the flower gardens takes about 2 to 4 hours. We recommend to admire the flower fields in addition to Keukenhof. This often also takes 2 to 4 hours
