Keukenhof Gardens from Haarlem

This is probably a dumb question but confused about travels to the gardens and hope someone who has been there can clarify. We are planning trip to Netherlands in early May and need help to understand combi ticket from Haarlem. I looked at Dutch railway web site journey planner, and it shows 2 transfers using train and bus, but the Keukenhof web page shows combi ticket direct to gardens from Haarlem on Bus 50 with no transfers. I'm guessing this is an express bus? Is pick up point at train station? Does anyone know if I need to make a reservation for Bus 50? I’m assuming this info will be provided when I buy on-line but just wanted to understand before buying ticket. Thanks for your help!

If you are coming from Haarlem there is just one bus 50. You catch it at the Haarlem NS Train Station outside
You just show your combi ticket it is good roundtrip. You don't need a reservation. They have buses leaving as they fill up.

You have the choice between bus 50 from Haarlem (regular regional public transport, no reservation), which delivers you at the busstop Vreewijk from where it's a 15-minute walk, or go to Leiden (or Schiphol, for which you have to change trains at Amsterdam Sloterdijk), where you can pick up the bus which goes to the actual Keukenhof entrance.
This public transport planner shows the connections.
