We will be returning to the NL mid-April, 2026. I have been monitoring the Keukenhof ticket site. For some reason, even tho entry tickets are on sale currently, the combi- tickets are not, which include the bus transportation. The note on the website indicates combi- tickets will be available mid- February. In my over-anxious state, I want to reserve tickets for everything now. Should I but entry tickets now, and the bus tickets later, or just calm down and wait the month? Has mid-February ever been too late to purchase entry-tickets? We will be going on a mid-week day.

February is just around the corner and I think there will be plenty of tickets available for you mid-April. You can check already now online to get a feel.of ticket availability for when you want to go.
If it helps to ease your mind, you can buy the tickets now and use public transport separately at the time when you are over. There are regular buses going to Keukenhof from Haarlem and Leiden. Just check 9292 or the NS apps for options closer to the date.
9292 only lets me check options a month from now, so only out-of-season options. I won’t be surprised this is because of the seasonal changes in the bus schedules early spring so they can not provide you with travel suggestions.

Hi Pat - There was a recent post from Nigel who said "not to worry about buying tickets ahead, we have gone many times at the last minute" and I took that to heart. (I'm also going to the NL in mid April.) So I think calm down is the answer, though I know it's hard for some of us planners to do. See you at Keukenhof?!?!?
