We are visiting Ultrecht in a few weeks and want to see the Kasteel de Haar while there. Did you enjoy the visit?
There is a train station about 10 mins away in Vleuten and Ultrecht is 30 mins away.
Question
1- If we train to Vleuten, is there Bolt / Uber / taxi we can get from the station to the castle? This train station seems pretty remote and not sure if there is something we can catch a ride to the castle. The bus only runs once every hour it looks like.
2- Would it be better to go into Ultrecht and then get a Bolt / Uber to the castle since it is a bigger city?
Working on the entry time now for our castle tickets.
Appreciate any experience with this. Thanking RS forum for the help

Looks to me like a connection every 30 minutes from Utrecht Centraal and it takes 35 minutes including a 5 minute walk from the bus stop to the castle.

As an aside, when we were in Utrecht last winter, it was advisable to make dinner (and sometimes even lunch) reservations.
If you are interested, the railway museum is worth a visit, and even has a US loco.

Thank you for the replies, we are just trying to get a ride / taxi from Vleuten train station and wanted to be sure we could get a taxi/uber. Did not want the bus if possible
