Hello all: We will want to see many museums and use public transportation frequently so want to purchase the iAmsterdam card on-line . I want to do this now so can reserve time slots. I am having a problem ordering because the site requests my address. My home address is rejected for being too long. We are staying in a home-based Airbnb just outside the city and the only address info I have (coordinates, not street address) is not accepted on the site. I can ask the host for help. She is quite helpful. But, first I am wondering if anyone else has filled out this form on line. And, if so how did you handle the address request? I want to start reserving soon as we will be in Amsterdam mid-April. Thank you for your help. Susan
On what website are you trying to buy the IAmsterdam card? Their official website doesn’t seem to ask for a house address, only your name and e-mail.
Also be aware that the Anne Frank house and Van Gogh museum are not included in the card.
I was on the I Amsterdam website. Turns out the request for the address occurred when I went to buy tickets for the Rembrandthuis Museum. I figured out they only wanted my house numbers. Don't know why. All went well. I have the card and have booked the time slots. Thx for your reply
