I AMsterdam card

Two adults traveling with a 6 year old. Just about every museum we plan on going to is free for her. We figured it would makes sense to get an I Amsterdam card for us, but it's 4 euros for all day passes on the GBV for her and she's free to go in just about everywhere. However, using the card to get timed tickets (Van Gogh museum for example) requires entry of the card numbers for each ticket. Do I really need to get a third discount card for her when she's free?

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks for your help. I checked out more than 15 museum and all but two are free for children in her age group, so the Amsterdam card was of no value for her. We will be buying all day pass for GBV as that's 4 Euros or so.

Suggest you email one of the museums and ask if she would need a timed ticket if her entry is free. Try the Van Gogh or Rijksmuseum FAQs as the might cover this. It must come up a lot for popular exhibitions even without the I Amsterdam card aspect.
