Houseboat in Jordaan or De Pijp

My husband, two daughters (ages 8 and 9) will be in Amsterdam for 4 nights in mid-December. We would like to stay in a houseboat in one of the above neighborhoods. We like lots of restaurants and shops nearby that preferable are not too touristy. But also a central location since we are only there for a few days. Our budget is up to $400 per night. Any leads on houseboats in these areas?
Thank you!

we stayed in a houseboat in the jordaan area 2 years ago. (B092- houseboatrental.nl) we really liked it, near public transportation, pancake bakery. don't know if you've been to amsterdam, there are a lot of bikes everywhere, be careful with your girls walking and crossing streets. look at pictures carefully, do's and don'ts and read reviews. how many steps to get down inside, does owner live on board, do you share bathroom/kitchen? lots of travelers want to stay in the jordaan area and amsterdam is a sought after place to go so yes there will be tourists.
iamsterdam.com check out christmas activities, markets, skating, decorations and lights.
visithaarlem.com 20-30 minute train ride away, cute small town.
have a great time and dress warm

I used houseboatrental.nl but when the owner had to move his boat, my reservation was cancelled. The company refunded my deposit, even though the say the deposit is non refundable. so the company seems to be on the up and up.
i ended up booking a houseboat through airbnb.
Our houseboat is in the jordaan area, which is a great area.
