Hotels (or B&Bs) in Rotterdam Center

Hello everyone: Planning a 2-night stay in Rotterdam next spring as part of a NL/ Belgium trip. We'd like to be near the Waterbus line 21 by the Erasmus Bridge.
Has anyone had a good hotel experience in that area? We are in our late 70's without great knees at this point, so we'd like ground or first floor unless there is an elevator. Saves the wear and tear for cobblestones. We want to be under $200 (or euros) /night.
thanks for suggestions. Susan

We were in Rotterdam for a day this past April. We took the train in from Delft to visit Kinderdijk. You'll love it! The appropriate tram from the train station will take you very close to the Waterbus. There is a hotel right there called Thon Hotel Rotterdam. The tram stops just around the side of the hotel. And not too far from there (maybe 5-10 min walk) is a Doubletree by Hilton. I haven't stayed at either one, but they are certainly convenient to the Waterbus, and I would assume both would have an elevator; because they are both modern, but of course double check that.

Thank you, KD. I checked out MANY hotels in Rotterdam to find one near the waterbus to Kinderdijk. Trying to find one with an elevator and a reasonable price (under 200E per night). Oh my! What a chore. I don't know why it seemed harder than all other stops on this trip: Amsterdam, Leiden, Bruges and Antwerp were much easier. Finally, thanks to your mention of the location, I reviewed the Doubletree. (I was trying to avoid American chain hotels, but. . . . needs must!) Then I accessed my Hilton Honors account and got a queen room with a Harbour View (not the river view, alas) an elevator and a mini-fridge for a smidge over 150 E per night.
So you were a much better help to me than you might have expected! Happy travels, Susan
