I booked the Jan Luyken Hotel for March 10-14 after reading reviews online. I don't see any mention in any of the forums here. Does anyone have personal experience with this hotel?

In December, we stayed at a different hotel (JL No. 76) but on the same street/block. Your hotel gets excellent reviews on booking.com. I would have no hesitation staying there. It's a fantastic location for walking to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, and close to the tram stop.
You didn't ask for restaurant recommendations, but I can't help myself, lol.
There is a Wizard of Oz themed burger place across the street from the tram stop that we really enjoyed. We had a drink one day when we just needed to sit and warm up (very creative cocktails), then went back for the burger the next day. Excellent!

Other restaurants we enjoyed: The Pantry (walking distance from hotel), The Seafood Bar (the one on Van Baerlestraat is walking distance from hotel), and Sampurna for Indonesian.
