Hello! I'm struggling to find hotel accommodations for three (one couple, and a friend) in Amsterdam. Everything is either extremely small or expensive, which I understand is typical for the city. Does anyone have any favorite hotels that will accommodate three (maybe adding an extra bed) that are relatively inexpensive? Or rental properties? Any advise is welcome! Thank you.

Last fall I stayed in a triple at Hotel NH City Centre in Amsterdam. The rate was reasonable for an expensive city like Amsterdam. NH Hotels also has a location in Leidseplein, which is closer to Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum and may be slightly cheaper.
If you want inexpensive, you may want to stay in a hotel further away from the city center.
