What is the best way to get from Hotel Espresso to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam? I depart on a Saturday. My flight is at 8 am, so I think I need to be at the airport no later than 5:30-6:00 am to check in and get through security.

Have you asked the hotel for a recommendation? That is generally the first place I start.

I took it both ways when I was there in April and for 5 euro, 25-30 minute trip it was one of the easiest airport to town and back experiences I've had in my travels to Europe. You just pay the driver, no advance ticket needed. Big bus, plenty of room for people with luggage. The link includes the schedules as well. A taxi would be around 40-50 euro, and I don't like shuttles going to the airport as they can be unpredictable. Don't short yourself time to check in at Schiphol, extremely rigorous and time-consuming security process.

I agree with Christa. We were there last year on a RS tour in may and took that bus to the airport. If you still have a bus pass that is still valid, it should work otherwise it is 5 or 6 Euros to get to airport

Thank you so much for this information. I will check out the website and see if the bus runs early morning. I'm thinking I should get to the airport around 5 am based on your warning about the time it takes to get through the airport.
