We love museums like Musee des Arts et Metiers in Paris and the Museo Galileo in Florence. We were hoping there might be something similar in Amsterdam, with historical scientific instruments, etc. but can't find anything online so hoping we might get lucky on this board. Thank you!
Amsterdam doesn’t have a museum like that. In nearby Haarlem, the Teylers museum does have a large collection of historical scientific instruments https://www.teylersmuseum.nl/en
Museum Boerhaave in Leiden is to recommend too. It has a collection of the earliest microscopes used by van Leeuwenhoek in the 17th century, his studies were the start of microbiology.
