I stayed there last year! There's a covered walkway from the airport terminal to the hotel. It was a very interesting single room - are you traveling solo or with someone you know very well? Very techy with lots of amenities programmable; ipad mini is in the room and has controls for everything. If you can get photos of the toilet and shower areas, you will see why I asked if you are traveling alone.
Breakfast was very good, I had a 7am flight out and I think they start serving breakfast at 4am; there are also other items available from a self-service area next to the breakfast room.

I would stay there again, definitely.

We stayed here. Very cool and fun. Tiny room but it overlooked the runway and it was cosy. If you're sharing, make sure you know the person very well. Toilet and shower are in encircling clear tube-like things and so there's not a lot of privacy. If I was alone, I'd stay there no problem.

Well, sort of. You can still see in and you're basically on show. I shared a room with my mom and wasn't super happy about it. You're pretty much sitting in the middle of the room going to the bathroom;)

We stayed there and liked it. We could not see through the walls of the bathroom. I liked the mood lighting and maybe the color we picked made it more opaque. Small rooms but nice for the price. We were pleasantly surprised.
I would stay there again.

I'll be staying here in March 2017 for a night. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, everyone!

I stayed there this Spring for one night on my way out of Europe. I flew into AMS about 0930 and was able to walk over to CitizenM and drop off my bag for them to store while I took the train into the city for the day. After exploring Amsterdam a bit I took the train back to the airport and grabbed a take away dinner to take to my room. I was able to relax in my comfy king size bed and watch a free movie while I ate. Then in the morning it was a breeze to walk back to the airport for a 7am flight out. It was a great place to stay for one last night in Europe where I got a good night sleep before a long day of traveling home. I tend to stress about getting to the airport and I felt so relaxed here knowing that I didn't have to worry about getting a taxi or figuring out a limited bus schedule at 4am the next day.

I was by myself, so didn't experience the privacy issues others have mentioned, but the room is definitely small and they only have king size beds so there's no option of having 2 twins if you're traveling with a friend. Might be okay for a couple, but wouldn't be my first choice if traveling with a parent or a friend, unless we got our own rooms.

It's a bit quirky and doesn't have any "old world" feel to it, but you definitely can't beat the convenience of being just a few minutes walk from the airport. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation. It would also be a great place to crash if you had a flight to Europe that got in later in the day to where you just wanted to sleep somewhere and get a fresh start the next morning. If you're looking for a base of operations for several days in Amsterdam you probably want to look elsewhere as this is a bit farther then I'd like to travel to and from a hotel every day to get to the main part of the city.
