Finding a family member at Schipol Airport

I am flying into Schipol Airport from the US and meeting a family member that is flying in from India. My family member does not have an international phone plan (and won't get one), so I won't be able to contact them to find out where they are once I land. They also don't have a smart phone, and so we can't use a chat app via wfi.

I suspect we may be flying into different terminals. Is there one baggage claim area and in that area are there any obvious places to meet up? I've never been through this airport before, and I'm not finding anything clear on the Schipol site.

I've been to Schipol many times. It is a busy airport.
Meet at your Hotel lobby it is easier that way, especially if the family member or your flight is delayed.

How about meeting at one of the rent a car booths. They are usually on the baggage level and there is one per company, like Hertz or Eurocar

Schipol only has one terminal so all arriving passengers empty out into the same public area of the airport after collecting baggage and immigration/customs. So it's quite easy to meet up with someone, I've done it a bunch of times. The most popular meeting points will be in front of the Burger King, or the ticket booths at the train station area.

This is very helpful, thank you! It looks like that meeting point will be our best bet.
