Just landed at AMS a few days ago, and it was very dark, around 9:30pm. Our great NL contributors here warned of the construction around the bus stands. It was very confusing! As previously posted, only board on the #300 bus that says Haarlem. There is a #300 bus that goes the opposite direction, and it's the first bus you'll see. Many bus stands are behind the construction fences, lined with black tarps. One can't see them, and you need to look closely for the crosswalks thru the construction areas. Currently the bus stand for the #300 Harlem bus is stand B-8, but that seems to change.
This was especially confusing being jet-lagged in the dark. Once on the bus, the driver was great, and all went well.
