Evening canal crusie options

This sounds like a really fun thing to do. Wife and I will be in Amsterdam in May. Any information on canal cruises would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the canal cruise companies have the normal 1 hr sightseeing cruises until 9:00 or 10:00 pm so you don't need a dinner cruise in order to go in the evening. I think there are several different operators and they all offer about the same type of cruise. No need to get tickets in advance. I know I just walked up and got a ticket, just like the Seine cruises in Paris.
