Looking for local “peasant” type food with Dutch/Flemish accent. Ate last night at perfectly fine resto of the “tweezer applied garnishes” type—not really what we’re seeking.
Also would love to find street food we missed when we were in AMS at the start of a long journey. We’re here in Delft looking for a few days to recover from weeks of intense sightseeing before returning to home and work.
Where can we find herring, fries, stroopwaffles etc.

I'm assuming you are gone by now, but one of the guidebooks I have mentioned De Snek as a good place to get frites (fries).
