This is more a FYI... from July 9th, there will no longer be domestic paper train tickets sold in ticket machines or ticket counters in Netherlands. Instead, passengers wanting to buy stand-alone tickets will purchase a disposable smartcard, costing € 1 extra (on top of normal fare price) and will need to check in and out on totems located in platforms or stations.
