do you recommend Art'otel in Amsterdam

Has anyone stayed at the Art'otel (near Central Station) in Amsterdam? Was your experience a good one? We plan to stay 3 nights in the area next spring. Comments are helpful. Thank you in advance.

I haven't stayed there, but I recommend reading a bunch of reviews on booking.com to be sure there aren't design-driven quirks you would find annoying. I suggest that because a few years ago I stayed in a couple of places that billed themselves as design hotels (one of which I think was a member of the Art'otel chain), and between the two of them I ran up against some very annoying, non-functional design choices. It was things like having only one bed-side table in a double room, a round vanity counter in the bathroom that made it all too easy for items to roll off and hit the floor, and a room light that was intentionally designed to flicker when you initially turned it on as a "welcome".

The rooms looked very nice when you initially walked in the door, but I was very, very, happy to escape from both of them.

My sister is staying there now. We went for drinks last night. It’s a lovely hotel and super close to the train station. However it’s loud in the bar area and crowded. Small gym and pool which is a plus.
We are staying at Sir Adam, quirky but oh so fun. I’m old so I need quiet, the rooms are dead silent at night. Ta
