Direct train from Schiphol airport to Paris?

Is there a train station at the Schiphol Airport or do you just take a train to Central from the airport? We are arriving in Amsterdam at 10:15 am and I have train tickets to Paris from Central Station at 13:15. Is that enough time to get to through customs and get to Central station or should I change the tickets?

The Thalys trains from Amsterdam Centraal to Paris Nord call at Schiphol 17 minutes after leaving Centraal. Is you reservation on train 9352? If so you can save yourself a whole load of hassle by boarding it at the airport. And just over 3 hours should be more than enough for that.

Yes, Thalys train 9352. Are you saying I can just board at the airport or do I need to change my ticket? Thank you.

Yes you can. Your ticket is for a particular car - use the information on the platform to know where to stand.

One small point springs to mind, access to platforms on stations in Netherlands is normally controlled by gates activated by scanning a QR code on the ticket. And yours might only open the gate at Centraal. Might be worth asking Thalys customer service. Or play dumb and ask the NS ticket desk in the arrivals Plaza at Schiphol, they should be able to give you a gate pass.

Schiphol station is an exception in that it does not have gates blocking access to any of the train platforms. There are merely check-in/check-out readers (applicable to domestic journeys). For Thalys at Schiphol station, find out the platform number on the board then just go down the applicable escalator. Each car area is marked (as I recall) so you can be in the right place before the train arrives. Your ticket will be scanned by train personnel after you sit down and the train has departed.
