We will be in Amsterdam for four nights in early July and are looking for dinner suggestions. We prefer fish/shellfish/vegetarian or ethnic choices as we do not eat meat or lamb. Saw the earlier post about a rice table. We were thinking about Tempo Doeloe for a rice table Tia Rosa for tapas. Bar Fisk for seafood. Thoughts? Suggestions? Many thanks!!
Highly, highly recommend Martine's Table if you can get a reservation.
She prepares dinner every evening for up to 8 guests; the price is fixed and you are served a four-course meal complete with beverages. She will also prepare if you should have any dietary needs. Rated #1 as the place to eat in Amsterdam and with good reason.
Recommend Blauw (family owned and one of the best) for a rice table or Sama Sebo. Be aware the rice tables prepare pork, beef, and chicken dishes as part of their offerings if you are doing a Rijsttafel.
If you want to dress up and splurge, try Restaurant d' Vijff Vlieghen
If we were to return to Amsterdam, the first thing I would do is book Martine's
