Hello,
I'm going to Amsterdam in February. I'd like to take an evening canal cruise, perhaps one that includes dinner, cocktails, etc. If you have a recommendation (a fun one to take or a lame one to avoid) please share it with me! PS-- I'll be going with my husband. My 2nd trip to Amsterdam & his 1st. Thanks!
I think would skip any night cruise then-the canal boats will likely have their enclosures up so would be surprised if you could see much at all. When we were there this past June, I only remember cruises with wine, not dinner.
Amsterdam Jewel Cruises is the highest quality dinner cruise experience in my opinion. It appears that they have dinner cruises available on February 14, 18 & 25 next month. This boat is mostly enclosed anyway (except for the table in the very back during warmer months) so the experience won't be any different based on time of year. Book soon because there are only 20 seats onboard. It a much more intimate and non-rushed dinner cruise.
www.viator.com/tours/amsterdam-cruises has a lot of info about dinner or lunch cruises . As I recall , the cruises have glass roofs so you can see plenty .
Thanks for the great replies! The information provided will certainly come in very handy. Cheers!
