s'-Hertogenbosch after Amsterdam -- Hotels?

We plan to visit Den Bosch after Amsterdam, for 1 1/2 to 2 days and will stay overnight. Het Noordbrabants Museum, Sint-Jan Cathedral, and Jheronimus Bosch Art Center all look interesting.

Two hotels near the train station look promising -- Hotel Julien s'-Hertogenbosch as well as the Little Duke Hotel. Has anyone had experience with either hotel?

Jan de Groot is right there, so we would get Bosche bollen.

Thanks in advance.

As a local, I’d honestly didn’t know that there were hotels at those locations:). Seeing the online reviews I think I would go for Hotel Julien. But honestly the hotels are very close together and if it wasn’t for the trees you could see the other hotel. They are not far away from the town centre, so if you don’t mind walking a few minutes to get to restaurants etc.. If you want to be right in the middle of the towncentre (about a 10 minute walk from the train station) Golden Tulip Hotel Central has an entrance right at the market. From there you’re even closer to all the things you want to visit. The hotel also serves the Bossche Bol from Jan de Groot (if I’m not mistaken). Jan de Groot is closed on mondays (due to lack of staff) at the moment btw. . And if you have time left I can recommend taking a boat trip on the River Binnendieze that floats through and under the town (https://dagjedenbosch.com/en/activities/jeroen-bosch-boat-tour/ or https://dagjedenbosch.com/en/activities/historical-boat-tour-on-the-binnendieze/). Enjoy my hometown!
