Cost of living in the countryside of Netherlands

I am planning to do an intership program for 6 months in Netherlands (feb-jul), but I have to choose between Breda and Sittard. I would like some help to know which has the lowest cost of living, because it is very important for me and I would be very grateful.

I am not a specialist and live too far away from both places to have experience with the cost of living there. But must be about the same regarding food if you have your own kitchen and public transport. It comes down finding the cheapest room and Sittard is the better place to my idea. Here is an overview of links I have found you also can use for Breda. The latter is a more important economic hub and therefore in general more expensive about housing. Breda is better located for going to the bigger cities in the Netherlands and Belgium too. https://www.insittardgeleen.nl/nl/studeren/op-kamers/kamer-huren/

For contacting municipalities: https://www.breda.nl/en/email-form and https://mijn.sittard-geleen.nl/MijnOmgeving/formulier/nl-NL/DefaultEnvironment/scContact.aspx/fBericht_sturen (webpage dutch only)

My daughter is a student and has been trying to get a room for about two years now in Breda and no luck so far! The most important thing is: where can you find housing the easiest! We really do have a housing problem in the Netherlands.
