cab vs. Uber Schipol to Amsterdam

My wife and I will be staying at the Mr. Jordaan hotel for several nights prior to our Boat & Bike tour. I have a disability which makes walking difficult. I am able to the cycling for the tour. We are thinking that it will be best for us to get a taxi or Uber ride from the airport to the hotel. I'd like to get some advice on which would be our best option. We are open to other questions or concerns. Thank You. Cory

Looks to be a quick ride so no worries. I always check to see if an official rate is posted on the airport website: https://www.schiphol.nl/en/from-to-schiphol/taxi/
I used uber in Amsterdam but not from the airport (I usually prefer to use a taxi rank, but it is an option--there is a specified place for pickups). So basically I think you'd be fine either way--Good luck!

Depending on the route, you can also take the very easy train into one of the Amsterdam stations, then taxi from there.

The train in the Schiphol Airport is really fewer steps than getting to a taxi.

Thank you both for your help. Paul, you answered a question that I forgot to ask. Which is a shorter walk, the train to the city, or the taxi area. That has me wondering how far the walk would be in the Central station. We'd need to get from that train to Tram # 13 or 17 into the Jordaan neighborhood. Thanks again.

The taxi ring at Schiphol is just outside the train station (https://www.schiphol.nl/en/airport-maps and select 0 Plaza & Arrivals).

Getting from the train platform to the trams (and then from the tram stop to your hotel) or to the taxi ring at Centraal will involve significant more steps than walking to the official taxi ring at Schiphol.
