Rome 2 Rio says that the 397 bus will take you to the bus station in the Jordann district. Has anyone done this? Do you buy tickets on the bus?
Any other suggestions for transportation? thanks

I've always bought bus tickets from the driver. It might not be the cheapest price, say if you had an OV Chipkaart.

Ive always taken the train to Centraal and then a tram. Very easy. I don't know about the bus, but it sounds like a workable option.
