We will be arriving in AMS at 6am next Saturday and will be taking Bus 300 to Haarlem where our hotel is located. Would love a recommendation for a wonderful breakfast place near Schiphol or in Haarlem.

Are you going to skip the breakfast (not that is ever wonderful) on the plane usually served a couple of hours before landing ?

In Haarlem, there are several restaurants around the market square. It is closer to walk to the sq from the bus stop prior to the rail station than the rail station. Assume your hotel is around the sq. The restaurant below the Hotel Amadeus as is the restaurant directly across the sq from Amadeus. You will have lots of good choices in Haarlem.

There is a location of "La Place" between the exit corridor and the bus stops near the train ticket machines with a terrace.
Well done food, very fresh, very convenient, reasonable prices. When we visit the Netherlands we make an effort to visit a La Place as often as we can. I think that the Haarlem location has closed unfortunately, a casualty of the department store, Vroom Dreesman, it was in closing.
The one at the airport opens at 7am.
