We will be flying into Amsterdam mid June and are wondering what is the best way to get from the airport to city center hotel (Movenpick) ?

You can take the train to Amsterdam Central station. Then on the lower level, look for De Ruijterkade tram stop on the east end of the station. Take the No 26 Tram to the next stop, Muziekgebouw Bimhuis. Cross the street and over the pedestrian bridge to the Movenpick.

I stayed there eleven years ago! At that time, the hotel had a free shuttle service to the hotel from the Central Station - not sure if they still do. I just missed the shuttle after arriving at the Central Station from the airport, so just walked from there with my bags (not many) and it wasn't too far for me.

With that in mind, call the hotel to see if they can pick you up at Centraal.
