best time for Keukenhof visit

Hi Sue, we visited as part of a Rick Steves tour. Arrived first thing in the morning and had the place to ourselves for an hour before the other buses arrived. I'd plan to be there when the gates open.

I vote with Donna for early morning so you can get away from the entrance area before the buses start arriving!

The Keukenhof is currently closed for the season and won’t reopen until late March 2024.

You can also have to place to yourself if you arrive later in the day. It's open until 7pm, so if your arrive late afternoon there are very small crowds.
