My apologies ahead of time if my question/post is a bit too specific for a general forum, but I was hoping some of the regular RS posters based in the Netherlands can help. One of our favorite places to go when visiting Ghent, Belgium is heading to a RS recommended establishment called 't Dreupelkot (http://www.dreupelkot.be/dreupelkot-historiek/?L=3).
In our last visit to Ghent last year, my wife and a couple of friends brought a few bottles of various fruit genever home with us. Highly recommended. Other than Pol's establishment, we have yet to find any place that sold this style of genever for take away. On our return from a trip to Switzerland next month, we will have one day/one night in Haarlem before departing for home. Does anyone know of a liquor/wine store within easy reach of Haarlem (and public transportation) that would have this style of genever? My search online has come up empty and our limited search on our recent 3 night stay in Utrecht came up empty as well. As much as we would enjoy bringing some bottles of Pol's genever home to share with friends, heading to Ghent from Haarlem is not in the cards. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
