BB&L Car rental

Has anyone used BB&L Car Rental in the Netherlands (NL)? They seem to offer so much more than other car rental agencies--maybe too good to be true? They pick you up at Schiphol, Rotterdam or Eindhoven Airport, and I believe, but am not positive, that you can pick up the car at one location and return it to another. (I just tried that on their website, but no joy). In order for them to pick you up at Schiphol, for instance, you have to give them a flight number and arrival time. My issue is that my companion and I are arriving by cruise ship in the port of Amsterdam, and will have to make our way, with luggage, from there to the Central Train Station, and from there to Schiphol, and I don't know if they will pick us up at the airport if we're not flying in. I did send BB&L an e-mail inquiry about all of this about a month ago, but got no response. And this company supposedly prides itself on is customer service! A significant issue is that we're arriving on a Sat, and many car rental companies in the NL either aren't open on Sat (or Sun) at all, or are open for a very limited time frame (e.g., 0900-1100). We're spending the first night in Haarlem and would really like to have a car on Sat or Sun. Thanks for any tips. P.S. We don't have Smartphones or any other kind of devices with "apps".

I have not used the company you mention personally, however, there are more than 10 rental companies that service the airport itself, many of which also offer pick/drop off at the port and many other areas in and around the city (including Haarlem). I came across the following site at the end of last year when looking for the option to collect a car at the airport and return it to the main train station in Amsterdam https://schipholairport.org/schiphol-airport-car-hire/#/searchcars - if you scroll down the page there is an extensive list of locations available where vehicles can be collected/returned - including Haarlem, the train station and indeed the Ijmuiden Port itself - hope this helps (I am not affiliated with the company I am linking to - just found it very useful)

If you are taking a river cruise, the cruise ships dock within a quarter mile of Centraal Station.
It is an easy walk with luggage - we had no problems and continued on the Schipohl with our luggage on the train.
Does anyone know of a company with a location near the Centraal Station?
If there is a company near the train station, you might consider using them just for the sake of convenience.

However, the public transportation system is excellent. I would not bother with a car unless you have specific plans to go somewhere that cannot be reached by train, bus or tram.
