Has anyone stayed at B&B Helmers in Amsterdam? It gets rave reviews on TripAdvisor, but was just wondering if any of you have any personal experience staying here. It's in the Oud West section of Amsterdam, about a 10 minute walk NW from the Van Gogh museum and about a 5 minute walk from Vondelpark.

Did not stay at Helmers, but stayed at another hotel which was a block away from B&B Helmers. That is a great neighborhood. Very convenient, easy walking distance to a lot of sights, good restaurants, stores and a city bus which goes to/from Schiphol.

Thanks Ceidleh! Great information. We've stayed in the Jordaan before and loved it. It's good to know that this is a really nice area too.
