Automobile Fuel price app or website Netherlands

I'm hoping one of our several very helpful Forum members from the Netherlands will see this.

I'm shortly to arrive in the Netherlands for a ferry home tomorrow from Hook of Holland with my car and I am frustrated by not finding a good source for locating inexpensive fuel (diesel) in the Netherlands.

In France I use Prix Carburant and CarburantPro as well as the Auchun apps for good prices.

In England it is PetrolPrices.

Luxembourg - no need, everybody is within €0.01 because of the law (yay!!! why can't everybody sell good cheap fuel like the Luxembourgers???)

Germany I use Benzinpreis.

Why oh why can't I find something similar for the Netherlands???

I suppose keeping the speed under 100 helps, but still.......

Thanks in advance...

Have to say having no experience with fuel apps as I only use the much cheaper gaz stations just across the border in Belgium and know where to find them. So did some search on the internet and finded a few recommended sites. ANWB is the Dutch equivalent of the AA and a reliable organization about mobility and tourism. The sites are in Dutch, can't find no English version so hopefully Google Translate can give enough support. Installeren is Dutch for to install.

Gratis / Free to download are:
1# ANWB Onderweg app. Seems good but only available in Dutch. https://www.anwb.nl/mobiel/onderweg-app
2# DirectLease Tankservice and available in US English. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app_it_up.dl_tankservice or https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/directlease-tankservice/id432942558
3# Tankey https://www.tankey.nl/

Not directly a wizzard with this kind of things, but if you are familiar with Google Play or the App Store I think it's doable to get the app you are looking for.

I use ANWB Onderweg and find it very helpful to find the cheapest petrol station nearby. The default setting shows the price of E10 fuel. If you need help setting the app to show the price of diesel, let me know and I’ll try to talk you through it.

Please note that the prices you see today, won’t be there next month. Per July 1, 2023 the taxes on fuel will increase, which means higher fuel prices.

thanks Dutch_traveler. I've been playing with it and see it shows around the location. Is there a way to look at what is available at a different town?

Yes, you can zoom out in the map and move it to another town and then zoom in again.

so the result - not so keen on Tankey because it looks best for somebody regularly in the same area but now that I found that I could really easily move the map in Onderweg and see the green/yellow/red general guide before zooming in it saved me about 20 British pence per litre when I topped up before boarding my ferry.

Thanks for the help. I'll keep Onderweg in the arsenal. If anybody has more hints about Tankey I'd love to hear them.

I couldn't find the Direct Lease app. Perhaps only for Dutch phones?
