Buses in Netherlands no longer accept cash. OV chipcards do not work for me because it is too much trouble to get the balance back. Can I buy bus tickets for (Syntus) bus # 105 and #106 from Arnhem Centraal station to go to the Kröller-Müller Museum from anywhere close to the station? I will be coming from Den Haag. If not, what are my options? TIA.
On the bus a credit card with a PIN will be accepted.
Another option is a one day Holland Travel ticket. For one price it will cover all your transport from inter-city trains to municipal buses anywhere in the country. You can purchase it at the train station in Den Haag.

Thank you, tonfromleiden and Michael Schneider. I looked into one day Holland travel ticket, it is too expensive.
One route proposed by 9292.nl goes via Apeldoorn (train from Den Haag, further on the bus). Syntus should have a service point in the station.
